About Lake Keowee
The northwest corner of South Carolina is one of the most beautiful, scenic vistas you will ever experience. The clear, blue lake water is fed by freshwater running off the mountains and is used for the drinking water for the area. The lake covers over 18,000 acres with 300 miles of shoreline.
Owned by the Duke Power Company, Lake Keowee is a great spot for fishing, sailing or motor-boating. Or, you can just relax in the quiet coves enjoying the wonderful views.
